The tour begins with an early-morning visit to Mansa Devi Temple on Bilwa Parvat, reached by the Udan Khatola ropeway, followed by a private-vehicle transfer of about 4 km to Maa Chandi Devi Temple on Neel Parvat, where a second ropeway ride provides views over Haridwar and the Ganges.
The trail continues to Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple in Kankhal, a spiritually significant site associated with the traditional story of King Daksha’s Yagya and Goddess Sati. We then make our way to Har Ki Pauri, where the day culminates with the spectacular evening Ganga Aarti — an unforgettable ceremony of sacred chants, ringing bells, magnificent fire lamps, and glowing diyas floating along the Ganges. We’ll begin our day early in the morning with a visit to Mansa Devi Temple, one of the most revered Siddh Peeths in Haridwar. Situated atop Bilwa Parvat, the temple is dedicated to Goddess Mansa, who is traditionally believed to fulfill the wishes of her devotees.
To reach the temple, we’ll take the Ropeway (Udan Khatola), offering beautiful panoramic views of Haridwar along the way. After spending time at the temple and enjoying the views, our private vehicle will pick us up and take us to the second hill, which is approximately 4 km away. Our next spot is the revered Maa Chandi Devi Temple, located atop Neel Parvat, approximately 880 metres above sea level. We’ll take our second Ropeway ride to reach the temple, turning the journey itself into part of the experience. Dedicated to Goddess Chandi, the temple is traditionally associated with the legend of her victory over the demons Shumbh and Nishumbh.
Once at the top, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the temple’s peaceful spiritual atmosphere while enjoying panoramic views of the Ganges and the beautiful Haridwar valley below. It’s a wonderful combination of devotion, nature, and breathtaking views.


Next, we'll drive to Kankhal to explore the ancient and spiritually significant Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple. According to Hindu tradition, this is the place where King Daksha performed the famous Yagya, and where Goddess Sati sacrificed her life. We’ll end the day at Har-Ki-Pauri, one of Haridwar’s most iconic and sacred landmarks, for the world-famous Ganga Aarti.
As the evening unfolds, you’ll witness priests performing the aarti with large flaming lamps, while hundreds of glowing diyas gently float along the holy River Ganges. The chants, bells, fire, and shimmering lights create an atmosphere that is both deeply spiritual and unforgettable.
